The following story was shared by Crooksville Exempted Village Schools in selecting Antony Dunlap as a 2017 Celebrate Teaching Distinguished Educator.

Antony has taught in the Crooksville Exempted Village School District for three years in the areas of both instrumental & vocal music. During his interim, Mr. Dunlap has begun to build the Crooksville music programs with the number of student participants, as well as, the contagious excitement that he brings to the curriculum. Students are flocking to his leadership and teaching styles, where they find he values their unique talents and gift through music.

Mr. Dunlap has shown tremendous leadership to the Crooksville Schools Music Department, as tragedy struck his band with the loss of one of his members during the fall. During this time, he became that constant in the uncertainty, the strength in his students' time of weakness and a pillar to our Crooksville school community.
